What if I have more than one carat?
Fine with us we separate each item and give you the cash valuation for each.

Does the gold have to be hallmarked?
All gold whether it be hallmarked or not we look at. We test to establish the precise gold content and carat value of your items to give you the customer the best possible price.

What if I do not have accurate weighing scales?
When we receive your items we carefully weigh them to the nearest 0.1 gram to ensure we give the market price.

How do i send my old gold to you?
All goods must be packaged in a secure box or jiffy bag and sent via royal mails special delivery service including your completed description form. This service has many sign upon delivery and insured delivery options. More information on this service can be found at the Royal Mail website www.royalmail.com

We cannot be held responsible for any items lost in transit, so therefore please ensure you are satisfied with the insurance cover before posting any items to us.

When will I know you have received my gold?
Confirmation of your parcels arrival will be sent to you via email. Orders sent by special delivery should also be trackable via Royal Mails website.

How promptly will I receive payment?
Once your gold has been valued and you accept the offer, payment can be made in one of three ways:-
1. prioity payment where the money will be in you account by 3.30pm that day. This would however incur a fee of £25.00
2. bacs payment where the money will be in your account within 4 working days.
3. we will send a cheque out to you within 24hours.

9.30 - 17.30 Monday to Friday

What about gemstones in my jewellery?
We don’t buy gemstones.

Do you buy silver?
Currently we do not buy silver.

What happens if I change my mind?
No problem, once we have weighed and valued your gold we will make you an offer by email. You will then be able to accept or reject the offer at which stage we will be able to return all gold via special delivery.

What happens if the market value of my gold changes after i’ve sent in my items?
We will guarantee the initial valuation for 48 hours thereafter subject to our final confirmation upon receipt of your gold.

If my gold weight does not agree with yours, what happens?
We have specialists gold scales and if there are discrepancies on weight we notify you immediately.
